The cold hard numbers are in for the UFC/Reebok sponsorship deal and listed above. The numbers immediately caused controversy amongst the roster of fighters that stand to lose money from the new deal. As reported Reebok now has the exclusive sponsor rights to the UFC fighters and will give each fighter a payout for wearing their gear. The amout of money paid to each fighter is based on number of fights each fighter has had under the Zuffa brand, including Strikeforce and WEC. What do you think? Is this good for the fighters in the long run?
Metamoris continues its sixth installment of its 20 minute submission only PPV matches. While the event has drawn criticism for shutting out all media and not having the event open to fans, the card itself has some very interesting matchups.
Headlined by Josh Barnett taking on the short notice replacement Ryron Gracie should be an interesting matchup and we will see if Gracie can pull off an win against the very experienced and much bigger former UFC champ.
The action begins at 6PM EST streaming live on their website metamoris.com
The rest of the card is below:
Josh Barnett vs. Ryron Gracie
Chael Sonnen vs. Babalu Sobral
Joe Lauzon vs. Dillon Danis
Xande Ribeiro vs. Keenan Cornelius
Clark Gracie vs. Roberto Satoshi
