Gracie Breakdown: Lauzon's Triangle Finish over Jamie Varner

(video via Gracie Breakdown)

Jamie Varner and Joe Lauzon put on the Fight of the Night at UFC on Fox 4 this Saturday. However it was Lauzon who came across as the big winner scoring $50,000 for Fight of the Night and an extra $50,000 for Submission of the night for finishing the very game Varner with a triangle choke in the third round. Rener Gracie and Brian Ortega are bringing this edition of The Gracie Breakdown to explain exactly how it went down. They also show you how to scare the living sh*t out of your teammates next time you have a little free time to kill at the dojo.

FINALLY! UFC on Fox Delivers

(video via Fuel TV)

The UFC on Fox events were starting to be alot like that hot chick who keeps giving you mixed signals on a date. Spending an evening with her should have been unforgettable but in reality it turned out to be either disappointing, awkward, or just plain forgettable.

On paper at this UFC on Fox card was looking to be no different. Coming off a lackluster PPV and going up against the Olympics is a daunting task especialy when this card was already gettng written off by most MMA pundits. With no title on the line and no real mainstream stars we thought it would continue the trend of leaving us wanting more at the end of a Saturday night.

Boy did they prove us wrong! This card turned out to be one of the most solid and action packed cards in recent history. Every fight delivered. Every fighter fought their heart out and at the end of the night a new contender for the UFC Light Heavyweight title emerged. Nice to see so many guys fiinally get their recognition, redemption, and rewards that they deserve. Here's hoping there are many more.

Because you need to workout your core...

(video via Youtube)

We know you take your workouts seriously. Thats the only reason you bought a Jam Gym. Still not getting the results you wanted? What's missing? Your diet, your equipment, your motivation to actually get off the couch?

Well fear not, we're going to clue you in on the latest workout craze coming out of Korea.  It should help strengthen your core, lose weight, and definitely guarantee your girlfriend will stop coming over to your place once she walks in on you riding this thing with your shirt off. We think it's called the Ace Power, and it's probably the greatest most ridiculously epic invention since the Shake Weight. Does it work? Don't know. All we know is that we're giving a free Models and MMA tshirt to the first reader to send us a video of them working out in one. Bonus points if you are wearing a skimpy bikini. Negative points if you look anything like Kurt Pellegrino.

UFC 150 Preview: Henderson vs Edgar

(video via TheSHOGUNmmaHD)

UFC 149 might have not gone down in history as the absolute worst event UFC event ever but it was enough of a dissapointment for UFC president Dana White to say he was embarrassed by it. We admit sometimes it felt like we were watching a whole lot of this, there were some decent moments on the card. Looking ahead though we have back to back weekends of more MMA action and reasons to lay down your kid's  allowance money on some friendly wagers. UFC on Fox August 4th and UFC 150 August 11th. Both should be great cards. Personally we are looking forward to the rematch between Benson Henderson and Frankie Edgar for the UFC lightweight championship. Edgar has never been one to let the fight come to him, and considering he will be trying to regain his title he should be fighting harder than these Angry Black Chicks. We can't wait!
